  1. Seaweed is any of a vast collection of marine 
  2. and freshwater, simple, multicellular plant 
  3. forms belonging to the algae and found 
  4. growing from about high-water mark to depths 
  5. of 100-200m (300-600ft). Some have holdfasts, 
  6. stalks, and fronds, sometimes with air 
  7. bladders to keep them afloat, and are green, 
  8. blue-green, red, or brown.
